Sleepy Shepherds began with a simple idea: what if something as ordinary as pajamas could mean something more?

As parents, we wanted pajamas for our own children that told a story, pieces rooted in Scripture that could inspire conversation, make God's Word a familiar part of everyday life, and remind little hearts of who He is and who He created them to be.

We couldn't find quite what we were looking for.

So we created it.

Made to Mean Something

We believe the little moments of childhood are an opportunity to plant big truths.

Bedtime is one of those moments. Pajamas are something children wear night after night. They are something familiar, fun, comfortable, and loved. We saw an opportunity to take that ordinary part of childhood and fill it with meaning.

Designed With Intention

What our pajamas say matters deeply to us. So does how they're made.

We wanted exceptional softness without relying on polyester, which is why our pajamas are made with 100% cotton, including beautifully soft Peruvian Pima cotton in most styles.

And we wanted the artwork to feel worthy of the Scripture it carries.

That means hand drawn prints created by artists, with a classic, artful quality. They are designs that tell their story beautifully.

From the fabric we choose to the words and artwork that inspire each collection, every detail is considered with purpose.

Our hope is that these pajamas create opportunities.

An opportunity for a child to ask a question.
